Ci siamo da poco lasciati alle spalle il 2020, un anno inaspettato e difficile, in cui tutti abbiamo dovuto affrontare le restrizioni per il contenimento della pandemia di Covid-19 che hanno pesantemente influito sulle attività di tutti, e in particolare sulle attività culturali, colpite dalle chiusure più prolungate. In questo anno così particolare l’Associazione Mirò ha fatto tutto il possibile per proseguire comunque nel proprio impegno rivolto alle attività culturali, a partire dalla 6° edizione del Concorso letterario “Voci di Notte”, dedicato al tema “FLORA”, in onore dell’Anno Internazionale della Salute delle Piante indetto dall’ONU. Il concorso è stato promosso con il patrocinio gratuito dalla Regione Piemonte, della Provincia di Alessandria e della Fiera Monferrato Green Farm, e ha visto un’ottima conferma nella partecipazione. Proprio alla Fiera Monferrato Green Farm, prevista per il primo fine settimana di aprile, avrebbe dovuto essere presente l’Associazione per promuovere il concorso e le proprie iniziative, ma purtroppo la fiera non ha potuto svolgersi a causa delle restrizioni, ed è ora stata rimandata all’autunno 2021.
La consueta antologia del concorso anche quest’anno è stata impreziosita dalle cartoline in tema degli artisti che hanno aderito al Progetto internazionale di Mail Art/Arte Postale indetto a tale scopo, con oltre 240 opere giunte da 20 paesi del mondo diversi. Con le dovute precauzioni, è stato fortunatamente possibile svolgere la serata di premiazioni del concorso letterario a fine agosto, con l’accompagnamento musicale del duo Daria Triglio e Stefano Cavaliere e l’apprezzata interpretazione dei brani premiati da parte della giornalista Veronica Iannotti, dell’attore conzanese Giacomo Capra e dell’artista Iris Devasini.
Per la prima volta sono state realizzate delle riprese video dell’evento, per permettere a tutti coloro che non potevano essere presenti di vedere la serata. I video sono stati pubblicati nel canale YouTube creato in primavera dall’Associazione, dove sono stati pubblicati anche altri contenuti delle iniziative precedenti.
Per Natale l’Associazione ha curato l’organizzazione e la promozione di Presepi in Valcerrina, che ha visto l’adesione di nuovi paesi e diversi nuovi presepi. Per quest’anno l’iniziativa è stata prolungata fino al 17 gennaio 2021, ma purtroppo non è stato possibile organizzare i consueti eventi natalizi.
L’Associazione ha anche indetto il progetto internazionale di Arte Postale sul tema: “Santo Natale/Holy Christmas”, che si è chiuso il 31 gennaio 2021. Al progetto hanno partecipato oltre 50 artisti da Argentina, Danimarca, Germania, Grecia, Inghilterra, Israele, Italia, Messico, Perù, Spagna, Stati Uniti, Turchia e Venezuela. Sono già stati realizzati tre video-mostre virtuali delle opere ricevute, pubblicati nel canale YouTube, ed è in preparazione un 4° video, che sarà pubblicato a breve. Le opere ricevute sono tutte visibili nel blog holychristmas.wordpress.com e nella pagina Facebook dell’Associazione.
In quest’anno le spese sostenute dall’Associazione per le sue attività sono ammontate a 1.003,90 €, che comprendono l’organizzazione degli eventi e la pubblicazione dell’antologia, le spese di promozione, postali ed amministrative e l’acquisto di materiali per le attività. Grazie alla raccolta fondi connessa al concorso letterario, e ai ricavi della vendita delle antologie, il bilancio è risultato in leggero attivo, con entrate totali pari a 1.112,84 €, con un leggero avanzo che sarà devoluto al Rendiconto 2021.
Vi anticipiamo che questo 2021 sarà un anno di grande cambiamento per l’Associazione, connesso e dovuto all’entrata in vigore dei provvedimenti previsti dalla Riforma del Terzo Settore. We have recently left behind 2020, an unexpected and difficult year, in which we all had to face the restrictions for the containment of the Covid-19 pandemic that have heavily affected the activities of all, and in particular the cultural activities, affected by longer closures. In this very special year, the Association Mirò has done everything possible to continue in any case in its commitment to cultural activities, starting from the 6th edition of the literary contest “Voci di Notte”, dedicated to the theme “FLORA”, in honor of ‘International Year of Plant Health announced by the UN. The competition was promoted with the free patronage of the Piedmont Region, the Province of Alessandria and the Monferrato Green Farm Fair, and has seen excellent confirmation of participation. At the Monferrato Green Farm Fair, scheduled for the first weekend of April, the Association should have been present to promote the competition and its initiatives, but unfortunately the fair could not take place due to restrictions, and has now been postponed to autumn 2021. The usual anthology of the competition again this year was embellished with postcards on the subject of the artists who joined the International Mail Art Project organized for this purpose, with over 240 works from 20 different countries around the world. With the necessary precautions, it was fortunately possible to hold the awards ceremony of the literary competition at the end of August, with the musical accompaniment of the duo Daria Triglio and Stefano Cavaliere and the appreciated interpretation of the winning works by the journalist Veronica Iannotti, of the Conzanese actor Giacomo Capra and artist Iris Devasini. For the first time, video footage of the event was made, to allow all those who could not be present to see the evening. The videos were published on the YouTube channel, created by the Association in the spring, where other contents of previous initiatives were also published. For Christmas, the Association oversaw the organization and promotion of Presepi in Valcerrina, which saw the accession of new villages and several new nativity scenes. For this year the initiative was extended until January 17, 2021, but unfortunately it was not possible to organize the usual Christmas events. The Association also launched the international Mail Art project on the theme: “Santo Natale / Holy Christmas”, which ended on January 31, 2021. The project was attended by over 50 artists from Argentina, Denmark, Germany, Greece, England, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Spain, United States, Turkey and Venezuela. Three virtual video-exhibitions of the works received have already been made, published on the YouTube channel, and a 4th video is in preparation, which will be published shortly. The works received are all visible on the holychristmas.wordpress.com blog and on the Association’s Facebook page. In this year the expenses incurred by the Association for its activities amounted to € 1,003.90, which include the organization of the events and the publication of the anthology, the promotional, postal and administrative expenses and the purchase of materials for activities. Thanks to the fundraising connected to the literary competition, and to the revenues from the sale of the anthologies, the balance sheet was slightly in surplus, with total revenues of € 1,112.84, with a slight surplus that will be donated to the 2021 Report. We anticipate that this 2021 will be a year of great change for the Association, connected and due to the entry into force of the provisions of the Third Sector Reform.
