Ci siamo da poco lasciati alle spalle il 2019, 5° anno di attività dell’Associazione Mirò, in cui ha proseguito nel proprio impegno rivolto alle attività culturali, a partire dalla partecipazione nel mese di marzo alla rassegna Golosaria in Monferrato al Castello di Frassinello, dove l’Associazione ha presenziato con un piccolo stand per presentare il la 5° edizione del Concorso letterario “Voci di Notte”, dedicato al tema “DONNE”, le edizioni precedenti e la pubblicazione storica sul tenente Miroglio, con una particolare connessione tra la famiglia Miroglio e Frassinello.
Proprio il concorso letterario è stato il fulcro delle attività culturali del 2019, promosso con il patrocinio gratuito dalla Provincia di Alessandria e della Regione Piemonte, che ha visto una partecipazione superiore alle più rosee aspettative e un crescente interesse verso questa iniziativa, pubblicizzata anche al Salone del Libro di Torino, presso lo spazio delle case editrici Edizioni della Goccia di Casale Monferrato e Parallelo45 Edizioni di Piacenza.
La consueta antologia quest’anno è stata impreziosita dalle cartoline in tema degli artisti che hanno aderito al Progetto internazionale di Mail Art/Arte Postale indetto a tale scopo, con opere giunte da 16 paesi del mondo diversi! Grande piacere ha fatto la crescita del concorso, e la presenza di tante persone, provenienti anche da altre regioni, alla serata di premiazioni svoltasi a fine agosto, con l’accompagnamento musicale della giornalista Veronica Iannotti e l’apprezzata interpretazione dei brani premiati da parte dei bravissimi attori torinesi Martina Michelini e Bruno Orlando.
Quest’anno i risultati del concorso ci hanno imposto una seria riflessione sul suo scopo, cioè quello di promuovere la cultura e la creatività letteraria, che si rifletterà inevitabilmente sul futuro di questa iniziativa.
Per Natale l’Associazione ha curato l’organizzazione e la promozione di Presepi in Valcerrina, che ha visto l’adesione di nuovi paesi e diversi nuovi presepi, in particolare con le tante iniziative a Mombello e Murisengo, dove l’iniziativa è stata promossa anche durante la Fiera del Tartufo a novembre.
L’anno è iniziato con una grande sorpresa relativa alle ricerche storiche che l’Associazione porta avanti su Villamiroglio e la famiglia Miroglio, che ha aperto un nuovo filone di ricerca legato alla Svizzera e alla Francia, tutt’ora aperto, che potrebbe portare alla realizzazione di un nuovo interessante volume in futuro.
In quest’anno le spese sostenute dall’Associazione per le sue attività sono ammontate a 1.182,02€, che comprendono l’organizzazione degli eventi e la pubblicazione dell’antologia, le spese di promozione, postali ed amministrative e l’acquisto materiali per le attività. Grazie alla raccolta fondi connessa al concorso letterario, e ai ricavi della vendita delle antologie, il bilancio è risultato in leggero attivo, con entrate totali pari a 1.227,84€, che saranno devolute alle attività del 2020. Per il 2020 stiamo già lavorando a importanti appuntamenti e iniziative, ma soprattutto siamo consapevoli che in qualche modo dovrà essere un anno di responsabilità e di cambiamento, per il direttivo e i soci, anche per affrontare i cambiamenti previsti nel Terzo settore.
Possiamo per ora anticiparvi che è in programma la 6° edizione del Concorso Letterario “Voci di Notte”, nuovamente abbinato ad un progetto di Arte Postale, con un tema attuale che aprirà a molte connessioni e collaborazioni, progetto che ha già ottenuto il patrocinio gratuito della Provincia di Alessandria. Stiamo lavorando in questi giorni per definire gli ultimi dettagli e soprattutto per portare la promozione del concorso e della tematica 2020 in importanti eventi, e puntiamo anche a migliorare le iniziative natalizie di “Presepi in Valcerrina”. We have just left behind the 2019, the 5th year of activity of the Association Mirò, in which it continued in its commitment to cultural activities, starting from the participation in March in Golosaria in Monferrato at Castello di Frassinello, where the Association attended a small stand to present the 5th edition of the “Voci di Notte” literary contest, dedicated to the theme “WOMEN“, the previous editions and the historical publication about Lieutenant Miroglio, with a particular connection between the Miroglio and Frassinello family.
The literary contest was the focus of the 2019 cultural activities, promoted with free sponsorship by the Province of Alessandria and the Piedmont Region, which saw a participation that exceeded the most optimistic expectations and a growing interest in this initiative, also advertised at the Salone del Libro di Torino, in the space of the publishing houses Edizioni della Goccia of Casale Monferrato e Parallelo45 Edizioni of Piacenza.
The usual anthology this year has been enhanced by the postcards on the subject of the artists who have joined the international Mail Art Project called for this purpose, with works from 16 different countries around the world! The growth of the competition, and the presence of many people, also from other regions, took great pleasure at the awards ceremony held at the end of August, with the musical accompaniment of the journalist Veronica Iannotti and the appreciated interpretation of the works awarded by of the excellent Turin actors Martina Michelini and Bruno Orlando.
This year, the results of the competition have imposed a serious reflection on its purpose, that is to promote literary culture and creativity, which will inevitably reflect on the future of this initiative.
For Christmas, the Association oversaw the organization and promotion of Presepi in Valcerrina, which saw the accession of new countries and several new nativity scenes, in particular with the many initiatives in Mombello and Murisengo, where the initiative was promoted also during the Truffle Fair in November.
The year began with a great surprise relating to the historical research that the Association carries out on Villamiroglio and the Miroglio family, which has opened a new line of research linked to Switzerland and France, which is still open, which could lead to realization of an interesting new volume in the future.
In this year the expenses incurred by the Association for its activities amounted to € 1,182.02, which include the organization of the events and the publication of the anthology, the promotional, postal and administrative expenses and the purchase of materials for the activities. Thanks to the fundraising connected to the literary competition, and to the revenues from the sale of the anthologies, the balance sheet was slightly active, with total revenues equal to € 1,227.84, which will be donated to the activities of 2020. For 2020 we are already working on important events and initiatives, but above all we are aware that in some way it will have to be a year of responsibility and change, for the board and the members, also to face the changes expected in the Third sector.
For now we can anticipate that the 6th edition of the “Voci di Notte” Literary Contest is scheduled, again combined with a Mail Art project, with a current theme that will open up to many connections and collaborations, a project that has already obtained free sponsorship of the Province of Alessandria. We are working these days to define the final details and above all to bring the promotion of the competition and the 2020 theme to important events, and we also aim to improve the Christmas initiatives of “Presepi in Valcerrina“.
