Il 2016 volge al termine, e vogliamo ripercorrere con voi quali sono state le iniziative svolte dall’Associazione Mirò in questi mesi. Abbiamo iniziato l’anno con una interessante chiacchierata con la dott.ssa Micaela Balìce sui Fiori di Bach, che ha condiviso molte informazioni curiose ed utili su alcune specie botaniche comuni nelle nostre colline, nonostante la pioggia abbia impedito lo svolgersi della prevista passeggiata per ammirare queste specie dal vivo. Molto entusiasmo ha riscontrato l’estemporanea di pittura, svoltasi in una bella giornata d’aprile a Villamiroglio, e tante persone hanno visitato la successiva mostra delle opere dei pittori partecipanti nel successivo mese di maggio. In crescita, sia come partecipanti che a livello qualitativo, la 2° edizione del concorso letterario “Voci di Notte”, dedicato al tema “Terra Mia”. Vincitori assoluti, scelti dai giurati Fioly Bocca, Alessandro e Luca Montarolo, Elisabetta Raviola, Davide Ursi e il presidente dell’Associazione, sono stati Andrea Pesaola di Monte Lupone nella sezione Poesia e Bruno Bianco di Montegrosso d’Asti nella sezione Racconti. Le opere pervenute sono state pubblicate in una antologia impreziosita dalle immagini delle opere pittoriche degli artisti partecipanti all’estemporanea, con in copertina l’olio su tela dedicato a Villamiroglio di Gabriele Sandrone di Torino. Grande piacere ci ha fatto la crescita del concorso, e la presenza di tante persone, provenienti anche da altre regioni, alla serata di premiazioni svoltasi a fine agosto. A giugno a Villamiroglio, e successivamente ad ottobre a Villadeati, nella splendida cornice di Palazzo Labar, è stato presentato il libro “Un Granatiere tra i Granatieri che fecero l’Italia”, realizzato da Laura Chiarello e pubblicato a cura dell’Associazione Mirò in occasione del 150° anniversario della morte del tenente conte Achille Miroglio di Moncestino, volontario nei Granatieri di Sardegna, insignito di 3 medaglie e una menzione onorevole, che tra il 1859 e il 1866 partecipò agli scontri che plasmarono la formazione del Regno d’Italia. Per questa pubblicazione, e grazie all’interessamento del Commendator Marco Viada, l’Associazione Mirò ha ricevuto la Médaille de la Fraternité Européenne dalla “Federation Franco-Italienne des Ancies Combattants Allies et de l’Amitiè permì les Peuple”, conferita alla memoria del tenente conte Achille Miroglio di Moncestino, per il ricordo tributatogli. Il libro è anche conservato nelle Biblioteche di Casale Monferrato e del Museo del Risorgimento di Torino, negli Archivi Storici di Casale Monferrato, Torino ed Alessandria, nel Museo dei Granatieri di Sardegna di Roma e nell’Ossario di Custoza.
L’anno si è chiuso con l’organizzazione di “Natale in Valcerrina”, un’iniziativa per promuovere il territorio e il turismo in Monferrato attraverso un “percorso” di presepi esterni, installazioni, mostre ed eventi natalizi in Valcerrina nel periodo delle festività, fino al 15 gennaio. A questo primo anno hanno aderito privati ed enti che hanno realizzato od esposto opere natalizie a Villamiroglio, Vallegioliti, Moncestino, Gabiano, Cantavenna, Varengo, Vallestura, Solonghello e Serralunga di Crea. L’entusiasmo è stato tanto, così come la voglia di fare di più e meglio l’anno prossimo in quasi tutti i paesi coinvolti, ma anche i contrasti non sono mancati. Non possiamo sorvolare su alcuni gravissimi fatti avvenuti a Vallegioliti, dove si sono verificati ben 2 furti delle natività in Via Romagnoli, e dove gli Amministratori Comunali hanno posto un palo per il sostegno della luminaria proprio di fronte al paese-presepe nel prato di fianco alla Chiesa di Santo Stefano. Molti hanno espresso lo sconcerto per i furti, qualcuno ha persino affermato che non possono trattarsi di “locali”, ma siamo certi di non sbagliare affermando che i colpevoli possono essere più vicini di possa pensare, gesti come quelli avvenuti possono essere figli solo di un volontario movente, non certo di una bravata qualunque, o di una generica insofferenza al Natale. Allo stesso modo abbiamo avuto purtroppo conferma dei nostri timori riguardo il posizionamento del palo davanti presepe, quando, proprio la sera di Natale, dei ragazzini sono saliti nel prato per fare delle fotografie e uno di loro è caduto, inciampando in uno dei cavi di sostegno del palo. Non crediamo si debba aggiungere altro.
Per il 2017 stiamo già lavorando alla 3° edizione del Concorso Letterario “Voci di Notte”… abbiamo già individuato un tema molto interessante, che ci porterà lontano, e che vi sveleremo nei prossimi mesi. Ci impegneremo per migliorare tutte le nostre iniziative, in particolare il Concorso letterario e Natale in Valcerrina, ci sarà spazio per altri piccoli eventi e forse anche una bella sorpresa per aprile! I programmi sono in fase di definizione, vi daremo appena possibile tutte le novità sul 2017 dell’Associazione Mirò.

Buon Anno Nuovo dall’Associazione Mirò!
The 2016 is coming to end and we want to go over this year with what were the initiatives carried out by the Association Mirò in the last months. We started the year with an interesting chat with Dr. Micaela Balice about Bach Flowers, who shared many curious and useful information on some botanical species common in our hills, although due the rain we had to cancel the planned walk to admire these species alive. Much enthusiasm for the extemporaneous painting meeting, held in a beautiful April day in Villamiroglio, and many people have visited the following exhibition of the artworks of the participating artists in the month of May. Growing, both as participants and qualitatively, the 2nd edition of the Literary contest “Voci di Notte”, dedicated to the theme “Terra Mia”. Winners, chosen by jurors Fioly Bocca, Alessandro and Luca Montarolo, Elisabetta Raviola, Davide Ursi and the President of the Association, were Andrea Pesaola of Monte Lupone in the Poetry section and Bruno Bianco of Montegrosso d’Asti in the Stories section. The works have been published in an anthology embellished with images of the paintings of the artists participating to the extemporaneous meeting, with on the cover the oil on canvas dedicated to Villamiroglio by Gabriele Sandrone of Turin. Great pleasure made us the growth of the contest, and the presence of so many people, even from other regions, to the awards ceremony that took place in late August. In June in Villamiroglio, and in October in Villadeati, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Labar, was presented the book “Un Granatiere tra i Granatieri che fecero l’Italia”, written by Laura Chiarello and published by the Association Mirò for the 150th anniversary of the death of the lieutenant Count Achille Miroglio di Moncestino, volunteer in the Grenadiers of Sardinia, awarded with three medals and an honorable mention, which between 1859 and 1866 participated in the battles that shaped the formation of the Kingdom of Italy. The year ended with the organization of “Natale in Valcerrina”, an initiative to promote the area and tourism in Monferrato through a “path” of external nativity scenes, installations, exhibitions and Christmas events in Valcerrina over the festive period. In this first year was joined by privates and institutions that have made or exposed Christmas works in Villamiroglio, Vallegioliti, /em>Moncestino, Gabiano, Cantavenna, Varengo, Vallestura, Solonghello and Serralunga di Crea. The enthusiasm was so much, as well as the desire to do more and better next year in almost all the towns involved, but also the contrasts are not missed. We can not gloss over some very serious events that occurred in Vallegioliti, where there have been 2 theft of the Nativity in Via Romagnoli, and where the Municipal Administrators has placed a pole for support th Christmas light right across the crib in the meadow next to St. Stephen’s Church. Many expressed dismay for theft, someone even said that can’t be made by “locals”, but we are sure to be correct in saying that the culprits may be closer than what we might think, gestures like those that occurred can be only children of a voluntary motive, certainly not a joke, or a general distaste for Christmas. Similarly we have unfortunately confirmed our fears for the positioning of the pole in front of the crib, when, on Christmas Eve, some children climbed into the meadow to take pictures and one of them fell, stumbling into one of the cables supporting the pole. We dont’ think there’s need to say more..
For 2017 we are already working on the 3rd edition of the Literary Contest “Voci di Notte”… we have already fin a very interesting theme, that will take us away, and we will reveal in the coming months. We will strive to improve all of our initiatives, especially the Literary Contest and Natale in Valcerrina, there will be room for other small events and maybe even a nice surprise for April! Plans are being finalized, we will give you as soon as possible all the news on the 2017 Association Mirò.

With your membership, paying the annual fee, will help us to support the plannes initiatives, and maybe will be able to add others, and as members you can actively participate in the activities.
