Si sono svolte Sabato 27 agosto, in una bella serata estiva, le premiazioni del Concorso letterario “Voci di Notte – TerraMia”. La partecipata serata si è aperta con un’introduzione dedicata alla terra “di casa” dell’Associazione, il Piemonte e il Monferrato, con la lettura di un’opera in dialetto piemontese e una dedicata alla regione collinare monferrina. Si è poi proseguito con una breve passeggiata sulle strade e i sentieri di Vallegioliti, con alcune soste per la lettura di altre opere partecipanti al concorso, scelte tra i vincitori e le più significative tra quelle pervenute, in angoli che rappresentano alcune delle peculiarità del territorio di Villamiroglio.
Al rientro dalla breve passeggiata si è proceduto alle premiazioni in una suggestiva cornice ispirata al tema del concorso, con la consegna delle pergamene e delle targhe agli autori presenti e la lettura delle opere che si sono classificate sul podio.
A seguire è stata presentata l’antologia delle opere pubblicata a cura dell’Associazione Mirò, a cui dedicheremo un post nel nostro blog con tutte le informazioni a breve, e un piccolo rinfresco.
Quest’anno il concorso ha visto 81 opere partecipanti, in crescita rispetto alla prima edizione, con ben 16 su 20 regioni italiane rappresentate, in prevalenza da Piemonte e Lombardia, e alcune opere provenienti anche dall’estero. Allo stesso tempo si è notato il rinnovarsi della presentazione di elaborati imperniati su tematiche importanti e delicate, o struggenti commemorazioni. Ricorrenti sono stati alcuni temi come la nostalgia per i luoghi in cui si è cresciuti e il desiderio di tornarvi, in particolare per il proprio sonno eterno, o l’elogio alla saggezza della natura e della vita contadina, e l’indignazione per lo scempio materiale e morale dei territori, a causa dell’abbandono e dell’incuria, o della disonestà. È stato interessante notare che il tema proposto ha raccolto opere nella quasi totalità legate alla terra intesa in senso “personale”, riportando in luce una visione pre-Risorgimentale, quando il concetto di “Terra”, quel fazzoletto di terra in cui si nasceva, cresceva e spesso si moriva, e quello di “Patria” si equivalevano, mentre è stato poco sentito il tema in senso globale, rivolto ad un pianeta collettivo e interconnesso.
L’Associazione Mirò ringrazia tutti gli scrittori che hanno partecipato al concorso e i pittori estemporanei, soprattutto quelli presenti alle premiazioni, anche provenienti da molto lontano; i giurati Fioly Bocca, Alessandro e Luca Montarolo, Elisabetta Raviola, e per l’associazione Davide Ursi e Laura Chiarello; i lettori che hanno interpretato i brani durante la passeggiata e le premiazioni: Elena Brusa, Teresa Mignacco, Franco Serre e Davide Ursi, e tutti coloro che hanno collaborato a rendere possibile la serata: Don Davide Mussone, Giovanni e Mariella e famiglia, Pietro, Maria Grazia, Federica e Mauro.
Un ringraziamento sentito e commosso a Bruno Savio di Frassinello Monferrato, per il suo omaggio all’associazione di segnalibri con elaborazione grafica dedicati a Villamiroglio e al tema “TerraMia”.
Come promesso, in seguito al terremoto in centro Italia, l’Associazione ha deciso di aderire all’iniziativa “Un buon caffè per il Comune di Amatrice” del Ristorante Italia di Cerrina Monferrato, che la mattina di mercoledì 31 agosto effettuerà un’apertura straordinaria per servire caffè a favore dei terremotati della cittadina laziale, il cui ricavato sarà versato dal Sindaco di Cerrina direttamente sul conto bancario del Comune di Amatrice, donando le offerte libere per le cartoline celebrative del concorso letterario “TerraMia”, ammontanti a 47€.
Con l’occasione abbiamo anche rinnovato il sito dell’Associazione, utilizzando un layout responsive, che si adatta automaticamente agli schermi di tutti gli strumenti tecnologici con cui oggi è possibile navigare online (PC, tablet, smartphone). Restano invariati i contenuti, a cui si è aggiunta una pagina dedicata al concorso letterario “Voci di Notte”, dove saranno indicati tutti i premiati delle edizioni realizzate.

Were held Saturday, August 27, in a beautiful summer evening, the awards of the Literary Contest “Voci di Notte – TerraMia”. The evening was opened with an introduction dedicated to the earth “home” of the Association, the Piedmont and the Monferrato with the reading of a work in Piedmontese dialect, and one dedicated to the hilly region of Monferrato. The evening continued with a short walk on the roads and paths of Vallegioliti, with some stops for the reading of other works partecipating to the competition, chosen among the winners and the most significant between those received, in some corners representing some of the peculiarities of the territory of Villamiroglio.
After returning from the short walk we proceeded to the awards in a picturesque setting inspired by the theme of the competition, with the delivery of the scrolls and plaques to the authors present and the reading of the works that have been classified on the podium.
Following was presented the anthology of the works published by the Association Mirò, to which we will devote a post on blog with all the information soon, and a small refreshment.
The competition saw 81 participants works, an increase compared to the first edition, with 16 out of 20 Italian regions represented, mostly from Piedmont and Lombardy, and some works coming from abroad. At the same time it was noticed the renewal of the presentation of works focused on important and sensitive issues, or poignant commemorations. Recurrent are been some issues such as nostalgia for the places where you’re grown and the desire to return to them, especially for the eternal sleep, or the praise to the wisdom of nature and rural life, and the outrage for the material and moral destruction of the territories, due to abandonment and neglect, or dishonesty. It was interesting to note that the purposed theme collected works almost all tied to the land intenden on a “personal” sense, bringing to light a vision from the pre-Risorgimento, when the concept of “Earth,” the handkerchief
of land where you born, grew and often die, and the “Fatherland” were the same, but has been little treated the theme in a global sense, aimed at a collective and interconnected planet.
The Association Mirò thanks all the writers who participated in the contest and the extemporaneous painters, especially those present at the awards ceremony, even from far away; the jurors Fioly Bocca, Alessandro and Luca Montarolo, Elisabetta Raviola, and for associating Davide Ursi and Laura Chiarello; the readers who interpreted the poems during the walk and the awards ceremony: Elena Brusa, Teresa Mignacco, Franco Serre and Davide Ursi, and all those who have collaborated to make possible the evening: Don Davide Mussone, Giovanni and Mariella and family, Pietro, Maria Grazia, Federica and Mauro.

As promised, following the earthquake in central Italy, the Association has decided to join the initiative “Un buon caffè per il Comune di Amatrice” by Restaurant Italia of Cerrina Monferrato, that in the morning of Wednesday, August 31 will make an extraordinary opening to serve coffee for the earthquake victims of the Lazio town, the proceeds will be given from Cerrina’s Mayor directly to the bank account of the Municipality of Amatrice, giving the free offers for commemorative postcards of the literary contest “TerraMia”, amounting to 47 €.
On this occasion we renewed the Association’s website, using a responsive layout that adapts automatically to the screens of all the technological tools with which you can now browse online (PC, tablet, smartphone). The contents remains the same, to which is added a page dedicated to the literary contest “Voci di Notte“, where will be indicated all the winners of the realized editions.
