Il 23 aprile si celebra la Giornata Mondiale del Libro e del Diritto d’autore, evento creato o patrocinato dall’UNESCO per promuovere la lettura, la pubblicazione dei libri e la protezione della proprietà intellettuale attraverso il copyright. Questo giorno ci è sembrato dunque il più adatto per lanciare ufficialmente una delle prossime iniziative dell’Associazione Mirò per la promozione e valorizzazione del territorio attraverso esperienze artistiche e culturali, in questo caso letterarie.
Il 27 agosto 1950 moriva Cesare Pavese, travagliato scrittore, saggista e poeta nato nelle Langhe ma che nel Monferrato visse il difficile periodo della Resistenza, un periodo che influenzò profondamente i suoi ultimi anni e le sue opere, tra cui il suo ultimo romanzo La luna e i falò, pubblicato appena pochi mesi prima della sua morte. Ed è proprio alla Luna e alla Notte che guarda il Concorso Letterario letterario di poesia e narrativa per opere inedite “LA LUNA E LA NOTTE“, organizzato dall’Associazione Mirò in collaborazione con la Pro Loco di Villamiroglio. Non si tratterà di un concorso fine a se stesso. Le opere partecipanti a tale concorso, infatti, saranno lette nell’ambito dell’evento “VOCI DI NOTTE” che si svolgerà a Villamiroglio (AL) Sabato 29 agosto 2015, un evento che coniuga natura, letteratura, musica e gusto in un connubio di sensi a tutto tondo.
Nel corso di una interessante camminata notturna assaporeremo i profumi e i suoni di una notte di fine estate, accompagnati dalla luce argentea della Luna Piena, dalle parole e dalle sensazioni degli autori partecipanti al concorso e dalle note di musici. Al termine della camminata, presso il Salone della Pro Loco, saranno premiati i vincitori del concorso letterario.
La partecipazione al concorso letterario è libera e gratuita, e vi possono partecipare poeti e scrittori sia italiani che stranieri con 1 sola opera, sotto forma di racconto, favola, fiaba o lettera, oppure sotto forma di poesia. Le opere devono essere inedite e inerenti il tema de La Luna e la Notte.
Il termine di consegna delle opere è Venerdì 7 agosto 2015.
Una giuria, composta dai presidenti dell’Associazione Mirò, Laura Chiarello, e della Pro Loco di Villamiroglio, Oriana Battagliero, dagli scrittori locali Luca Montarolo e Davide Ursi, e dal libraio Alessandro Montarolo, esaminerà le opere pervenute e designerà le migliori, riservandosi il diritto di assegnare eventualmente ulteriori menzioni e riconoscimenti ad opere meritevoli. On April 23 is celebrated the World Book Day, an event created and sponsored by UNESCO to promote reading, publishing books and the protection of intellectual property through copyright. This day it seemed therefore the best to officially launch a forthcoming initiatives of Association Mirò for the promotion and development of the territory through artistic and cultural experiences, in this case literature. On August 27, 1950 Cesare Pavese died, troubled writer, essayist and poet born in the Langhe but who lived in the Monferrato the difficult period of the Resistance, a period that profoundly influenced his later years and his works, including his latest novel La luna e i falò, published just a few months before his death. And its to the Moon and the Might that aims the Literary Competition of poetry and fiction for unpublished works “LA LUNA E LA NOTTE“, organized by Association Miró in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Villamiroglio. It will not be a competition for its own sake. The works entered in the competition, in fact, will be read during the event “VOCI DI NOTTE”, which will take place in Villamiroglio (AL) Saturday, August 29, 2015, an event that combines nature, literature, music and taste in an union of senses all round. During a interesting night walk we’ll savor the smells and sounds of a late summer night, accompanied by the silvery light of the Full moon, by the words and feelings of the authors participating in the competition and the notes of musicians. At the end of the walk, at the Hall of the Pro Loco, the winners of the essay contest will be awarded. Participation in the literary competition is free, and can participate poets and writers both Italians and foreigners with one single work, in the form of story, fable, fairy tale or a letter, or in the form of poetry. The works must be unpublished and related the theme of the Moon and the Night. The entry deadline of the works is Friday, August 7, 2015. A jury, composed of the presidents of Association Miro, Laura Chiarello, and of the Pro Loco of Villamiroglio, Oriana Battagliero, by local writers Luca Montarolo and Davide Ursi, and the bookseller Alessandro Montarolo, will examine the entries and nominate the bests, reserving the right to assign any more mentions and awards to worthy works.
